Just as prettythings89 said, I think that, in spite of her accent, -which is not disturbing and suit her French speaking and the song quite well- she sounds to be a good speaker! Anywho, very nice video, k8fan, and thanks for using the French version of the song ‘The Infant Kiss’, I’ve always wanted to hear it.

I think this is one of the best videos of Kates songs on youtube and I love this French version. Beautiful, disturbing, haunting, all the things that Kate is. How I love that woman.

The song was written in English, then translated to French. She did write a song in French, « Ne T’Enfuis Pas ». The story in the video is from the movie « The Innocents ». It’s out on DVD, and you should be able to rent it. Great film and creepy as all get out.
